Mancano pochissimi giorni all’avvio dei Mondiali di Germania 2006 ed il web si sta attrezzando per l’occasione. Purtroppo chi non ha Sky potrà seguire solamente venticinque partite tra le sessantaquattro partite in programma. Come ovviare a questo problema? Grazie ad internet potremmo seguirle online…. gratuitamente. Sky insorge.

In rete esistono già molti programmi che sfruttano il protocollo IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) che ci consente di seguire le partite via internet utilizzando dei software simili a quelli P2P.
I requisiti per poter vedere le partite online sono il possesso di una connessione a banda larga.
Per poter usufruire di tutte le partite dovrete semplicemente installare il Mediacenter prodotto da Coolstreaming (finito di recente nell’occhio del ciclone) che secondo i webmaster “è un programma che aggrega il segnale audiovideo presente sul web di moltissime tv e offre la possibilità di utilizzare i software peer-to-peer prodotti e distribuiti da altre società”. Molte televisioni cinesi, infatti, pagano i diritti, anche del campionato di calcio italiano, molto poco e trasmettono online i loro contenuti.
Per poter poi seguire le partite vi basterà guardare il palinsesto completo sull’apposito sito e collegarsi in diretta per gustarsi le partite!
Sky, chiaramente, è insorta in quanto può levare potenziali clienti al network proprietario di Murdoch, ma in teoria per la legge italiana non ci sono problemi!
